At 05/05/05 5:55pm, the new Typophile went live. The site uses a Flash technique similar to sIFR to dynamically generate all headlines (this includes the subject line of every forum post) in H&FJ’s new Mercury. Gotham is also used for smaller heads.
The newest post is also displayed as a sort of textu(r)al backdrop in the site’s front page, so Typophile’s entryway is constantly changing. Wow. Suddenly, Typographica’s rotating banner seems ridiculously antiquated.
